I offer web design and web development, primarily for small to medium-sized businesses, and individuals. I focus on making websites with unique and engaging designs that are easy for users to navigate. I offer both front-end and back-end development, so in addition to designing and developing your website, I can set up your DNS, private email, hosting services, content management system, SEO, and more!
WEB MANAGEMENT:
After I make your website, I offer continued support from answering technical questions to maintaining your hosting services, performance updates, and providing critical updates as needed. If you already have a website, I offer redesign and update services that range from complete redesigns to improved SEO and performance.

I made my first website when I was 11 years old, and I fell in love with everything that could be done with ones and zeros. As I grew up, I got lost along the way and somehow ended up with a degree in philosophy before reigniting my love affair with coding. That being said, I assure you that I'm much better at making websites now than I was when I was 11!
These days I'm passionate about making websites, especially for small businesses and individuals. I remember when the internet used to be a smorgasbord of customized websites, and while I don't miss everything about it (looking at you, auto-music players), I do miss some things that I hope to bring into the modern internet, like websites that were designed to truly reflect the people and brands they were meant to represent. I think that modern websites are either boring (thanks, WordPress, Squarespace, etc) or over-designed and just plain complicated to use. My goal, whenever I create a website, is to strike the perfect balance between a unique, stunning website and a website that is easy to use.

> HIGHLIGHTS:
Everyone knows most websites look different on desktop
than they do on mobile, and this one is no exception. However, the difference
between the two is not always for the sake of appearance. For example, the desktop
version of her website has an animated glowing effect around the pyramid and stars
while the mobile version has a static glow. In making this change, I optimized the
mobile version of her website for speed so that Laura's prospective clients would
experience a fast website that delivers Laura's high quality content as quickly as
possible.

THE BASICS:
Laura is a talented graphic designer and web designer who created the design for Neon Prism Studio. We worked together to optimize her design for the web as I implemented it. I found a web hosting service provider that suited her needs, and helped set up her domain name services. I continue to maintain the hosting services for her as well as provide ongoing support as needed.
THE SPECS:
Laura created her design in Figma. I used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as Bootstrap to implement her design. The SEO for her website is built into every page from the page format to implement keywords that relate to her business.
